I don't usually like Rihanna's music, but I love this song! But I must say, the chorus sounds a lot like a song I already know, but I can't put my finger on it. Anyone know?

I quite like this outfit. Those shoes are divine. I like the skirt with that top and with that jacket, which makes it a bit more casual.

PS: So today I got a hair cut! I got a bunch cut off, but I no longer really get nervous about cutting my hair shorter since my hair grows obscenely quickly. I also did some yoga today, the first time in a while. I forgot how good you feel after doing it! :)

1) What's your favorite book?
 
Hmm. I really can't name just one book. I just finished The Fault in Our Stars by John Green, and that was great. I also loved Looking for Alaska by him. I loved Divergent too, and The Maze Runner was insanely good. There were some old ones like The Phantom Tollbooth that I want to re-read because it was good, and kinda nerdy ones like Artemis Fowl I remember loving that I want to revisit.
 

2) What's your favorite fashion trend of the moment?
 
I'm not sure about this either. I am not really on top of what the trends are. For the spring/summer shows, beauty wise I liked a lot of the blue/green eyeshadow and eyeliner-- I thought it was quite pretty. Stella McCartney and Kenzo were favorites of mine.
 

I liked the use of sneakers on the runway for spring/summer 2013, i lived the pastels too (as i'm sure you can guess from my sets), neon is always fun for spring, as is white.

3) What do you want to be when you grow up / see yourself doing?
 
I'm really not sure. I will definitely go to college. After that? Hmm. I might try to go into some kind of fashion, like fashion journalism. Or maybe something like PR or Marketing. I really don't know, though!
 

4) What makes you unique?
 
Ahh this is a tough one. I guess how I told true to my values. I think I am also quite good at giving advice, and have a pretty good mindset and positive outlook on life.
 

5) What's one regret you have about your childhood? (for example, I really wish I had learned to ski when I was younger)
 
Maybe that I had continued piano? But I was quite bad at it. Ohh, I know! I wish that I had learned Japanese more. I know some, but I wish I had really learned it when I was younger, when it was easier.
 

6) Describe your style in real life.
 
My style in real life is pretty simple. It's not as pastel + frilly as my sets on Polyvore. I honestly don't wear dresses that much… they just aren't the most practical with my life style. In the winter I wear tons of sweaters and knits-- I love Rag & Bone and Theory. Basic dark wash jeans, ankle boots. I also like some nice blouses and tops. Sometimes I wear dresses-- I like them, but again they aren't the most practical. I guess my style is pretty simple. When its warmer, denim shorts. Sometimes sundresses or something. Flat sandals. I don't wear heels much -- I like them, but again not the most practical for my lifestyle.
 

7) What age of your life was your favorite and why?
 
That's hard to say-- there's not a definitive answer here, either. There are years that have had the best moments of my life but have also had hardships and disappointments, too. I really am grateful for all of my years, for I've either had great experiences or amazing lessons I learned. One of my toughest years -- or rather part of a year -- was the summer of 2011, and even this past summer for some things. However, I also grew tremendously from that time, and therefore it was kind of amazing, too.
 

8) What's your favorite quote?
 
Again, there are just too many! I have a section on my Tumblr with some, although the layout is messed up there, I couldn't fit all of mine, and it hasn't been updated in forever. Here are three I have been loving lately:

I am still in high school. I guess quite studious. I think I pretty much get along with everyone -- I'm closer with some people, but don't have anyone I particularly don't like, no "enemies". I do take my studies seriously and also have a demanding extracurricular which made me really have to focus in school. But while some of my friends were studious, some of my closest friends were also pretty big party girls, so while I was and am quite studious (less so this year, for my senior winter/spring), it's not like I am in a "clique" with people like that.
 

10) Say one random fact about yourself.
 
I had a delicious crepe for lunch today. I don't think that's a good one but wharves.

1. Do you think models nowadays are skinny, too skinny or just the right size?
 
I think that it depends. I think some are probably too skinny… Like I remember Gemma Ward speaking out about how so many people asked you to starve and stuff. But I think some models are just naturally that thin, and I think as long as they're healthy there's nothing wrong with that. I think that people have to remember that it's not realistic for most people to look like models. I think designers and editors have to try to use models who look like the average girl more, and I think that models should also be pressured to not starve themselves, but be healthy instead. And if they're still super thin then, it's fine.
 

2. What is your country or city known for?
 
Business. Fashion. Art. Culture. Pizza. Bagels. LOL
 

3. Who is your celebrity crush and what you like about them!
 
Ahh I don't know who right now! It changes so often- I'm fickle that way. If I see a movie or something with someone then I obsess and then get over it. I was just watching White Collar so I guess Matt Bomer- I mean look at him. And I love his character on the show. And he's a great actor. But he's like 40. and gay. with kids. So yeah.
 

4. Name 5 of your favorite songs!
 
Again, I don't really know! I guess what I've been listening to recently (AKA today) would be I am not a robot - marina and the diamonds, you and i - ingrid michaelson, somewhere only we know - keane, ghost in the machine - b.o.b, work- 1,2,3. but it changes so often-- again i'm fickle.
 

5. Favorite movie from you childhood! Why?
 
Too many to choose from! The Parent Trap, any Pixar movies-- Finding Nemo, Monsters Inc, etc., Disney movies, the Lion King, It Takes Two, A Little Princess. They are all just good films that are also nostalgic for me.
 

6. What interests you?(hobbies etc.)
 
Horseback riding. Fashion. TV shows (LOL), food. Blogs. Beauty. Health. Fitness. Reading. Music. IDK sorry I am not thinking of good answers now at all.

I honestly thought of coco tutu on a whim. no idea. :)
 

8. What do you look for in a guy?
 
First, I'll get the physical traits out of the way. Obviously super hot. I like tall. Normally brunette, but some blondes. Good body.
Someone funny who can make me laugh, someone trustworthy and someone who supports me and loves me for who I am, someone genuine and caring. And also some kind of passion or ambition or sense of wanting to do well in life or do good for the world or something.
 

9. Is there anything you want to change about your physical appearance?
 
I want to get more fit, but not really for the physical appearance-- more for just my health. My nose used to bother me, but I'm kind of over that now. There's not one specific feature I'd change, maybe like blue eyes or something. I have brown eyes. They're not bad-- they're pretty light and in the sun look golden kind of. But blue eyes are amazing.
